This drawing was inspired after watching the film The Artist and the Model. A French and Spanish collaboration made in 2012 and filmed entirely in black and white. It is a story about an aging artist who finds new inspiration in a young model. I particularly like black and white films and this one resonated with me as I was looking for inspiration for a series of drawings I was planning. I wanted to create drawings made up of a sequence of stills that I was drawn to whilst watching a film. Something that I am planning to continue. My drawing shows the artist near the beginning of the film walking alone looking for something to inspire him. The model actually appears further in the film
